GEI Consultants is seeking passionate and motivated students eligible for summer employment for the May 2026 term who are eager to make a positive impact on our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a career in environmental or civil engineering to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
As an Environmental Summer Student at GEI, you will work closely with a talented, multidisciplinary team, contributing to the successful delivery of a variety of projects. This role offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting while learning from experienced professionals and gaining valuable industry exposure.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties

Collaborate with team members on environmental and civil engineering projects

Assist in data collection, site assessments, and environmental analysis

Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and technical documentation

Conduct research and contribute to project planning and implementation
-
Attend site visits and provide on-site support as required

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects

Ensure that all tasks are completed in compliance with safety regulations and project timelines
Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related program
-
Strong interest in environmental or civil engineering practices
-
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment

Must be eligible for a summer work term
