Position Summary
We are seeking an HVAC Production Assembler (Assembly Technician) to join our Production team. This role plays a critical part in assembling and fabricating HVAC equipment components to meet high-performance standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on mechanical experience and a strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate HVAC equipment components
-
Measure, cut, grind, and fit parts to specification

Follow blueprints to build units (parts range from 5–50 lbs.)

Safely operate hand and power tools

Assist with detailing, crating, and preparing units for shipping Adhere to safety codes and company standards
Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly
-
Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Safe lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs.)

Experience using power tools (drill, grinder) Assets: First Aid, Forklift/ Crane certificates, tack welding skills
Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:30 pm Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

ICE Western’s purpose was to take on the production of highly complex HVAC units not suited for the main plant. Now ICE Western’s state of the art industrial manufacturing facility is located on 5 acres in South Foothills Industrial Park Calgary Alberta.
