We’re hiring a Powersports Sales Manager to lead a driven sales team, elevate the customer experience, and help grow one of Western Canada’s top powersports operations. Responsibilities · Execute the powersports sales and marketing strategy in alignment with financial and operational goals. · Maintain and optimize inventory controls, pricing strategies, and department financial performance. · Monitor monthly performance and ensure market shar exceeds MMS BRP national averages. · Lead your team in delivering consistent, 5-star client experience across all touchpoints. · Strengthening digital and in-store lead management, CRM usage, and follow-up execution. · Represent the brand at key industry events and grassroots activities. · Provide ongoing coaching, goal setting, and structured performance reviews. · Support sales staff in closing deals while maintaining strong margins. · Build a long-term staffing and development plan for continued department growth. · Ensure your team has the training and tools needed to succeed. · Maintain current knowledge of used powersports valuations and share insights. Qualifications · Minimum 3 years of sales management experience, ideally in a dealership or similar environment. · Powersports or Motorcycle experience is required. · Strong financial and analytical skills. · Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience an asset). · Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities. · Ability to drive team performance through effective training, goal setting, and accountability. · A passion for the Powersports industry. About Martin Motor Sports
Our story begins with Martin Farm Equipment in 1965 when Jim Martin purchased a small John Deere dealership just off Argyll Road in Edmonton. Those humble beginnings in a two-stall service station lead to growth throughout the sixties and seventies and soon enough, Martin Equipment operated six dealership locations across central Alberta. In 2003, Martin Motor Sports made its debut. We wanted to take some of the principles of authenticity, excellence and passionate ownership we learned from John Deere and apply them to the marine and powersports industries in a big way. We knew that recreation and agriculture weren't as different as most would think - just as a farmer depends on quality equipment and efficient service to get his crops on and off the field, a boater relies on industry experts and top notch service to squeeze every last drop of sunshine and moment of family time out of our Canadian summers. We know that those small moments are what matter the most, and that's why we're here to support you any way we can through programs like 24 hour parts & service access, highly trained and certified staff and well vetted products. Fast forward more than 50 years since our doors first opened, Martin Deerline & Martin Motor Sports now span western Canada with 15 rooftops, but our core values of honesty, integrity and always going the extra mile for our clients remain the same.
