About the role
CSN Emeryville Collision is looking for an experienced automotive parts professional. Duties required but not limited to the following expectations are as follows:
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain an accurate parts inventory to ensure availability, efficiency, and proper stock levels.
- Parts Handling: Safely lift, move, and store automotive parts of varying sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs) as part of daily duties.
- Technician Support: Assist technicians in identifying, sourcing, and retrieving the correct parts needed for vehicle repairs.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional and friendly service, educating clients on parts and systems to meet their needs.
- Record Accuracy: Maintain detailed and precise parts records for internal tracking, warranty, and audit purposes.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize parts management and estimating software such as PBS DMS, Mitchell, ProGi, and Collision Link to streamline workflows.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors and place parts orders for files, receive and return parts and process part returns in the management systems.
Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in an automotive parts department (experience as a service advisor is an asset).

Familiarity with body estimating software and parts management systems is an asset.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.

Physically able to safely lift and move parts up to 50 lbs, using proper techniques.

Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with a commitment to follow-through.
