Your Future Role
- Perform equipment installation and commissioning
- Verify that all equipment operates according to established specifications
- Work with FANUC robots and Allen-Bradley equipment
- Make electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments
- Advise and train clients on the use of their equipment
- Promote health and safety best practices
- Translate clients’ operational and production management needs into clear actions or recommendations
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
- Complete daily activity reports, manage travel bookings, and submit timesheets and expenses on time
- Travel as required – approximately 50% of the time
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Electromechanics, College Diploma (DEC) in Industrial Electronics, or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automated Production Engineering – or any related field
- Proficiency in reading electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
- Experience with packaging equipment – an asset
- Knowledge of industrial safety principles – an asset
- Strong time management skills
- Strong communication and training abilities
- Intermediate French – for communication with clients and suppliers outside Québec
