- JOB SUMMARY:
The Radiation Therapist assumes responsibility for administering radiation treatment in accordance with Radiation Oncologist, prescription, departmental policy and procedures/standards of care. Calculate basic prescription calculations and check calculations done by others, including preparation of and documentation in the treatment record. Maintain treatment record throughout a course of radiation therapy. Respond to patient condition and patient care needs including comprehensive patient education. Maintain goals, policies and standards of performance according to policy.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current experience in all aspects of Radiation Therapy
- Ability to communicate clearly and respond to needs of others
- Ability to function as a team member
- Ability to communicate in the French Language would be an asset
- EDUCATION:
- Graduate from an approved School of Radiation Therapy
- Registration with the CMRITO
- Current CPR registration required

Providing Acute Care Services with 650 plus beds and an operating budget of half of a billion dollars, Windsor Regional Hospital is one of the largest community based non-academic hospitals in the Province of Ontario.
