Title: Sr. Business Analyst, Workforce Strategy & Analytics
Position Overview The Sr. Business Workforce Analyst will support projects and tactical activities related to the maintenance and continuous improvement of key business processes surrounding labour capital within the Merchandising Execution Team for the Canadian division. Such processes include forecasting, capacity management, labour engineering, and operational efficiency. The individual will monitor, support, and make recommendations to deliver on functional plans and to improve operational process capabilities. In addition, the individual will liaise with teams across the organization to define business requirements, and establish and manage essential phases of the project management lifecycle for both technical and non-technical projects. This will require the development of strong relationships and effective communication skills between technically and non-technically oriented teams across the organization and external third-party groups.
Key Responsibilities Analysis and Strategic Support
Manage and maintain key performance indicators that act as inputs in overall labour model determination and the management of workforce resources
Provide analysis and conduct labour study testing to assist leadership in defining strategic roadmap
Prepare financial analysis and forecasts for use in the development of operational productivity recommendations and financial business decisions
Create new and supplemental reporting methods to aid management in proactive problem solving
Support the maintenance and creation of store user facing tools/applications/dashboards
Operational Planning and Communication
Collaborate with cross functional teams on workload capacity planning
Provide regular commentary to leadership on opportunities, risks and emerging trends for the purposes of operational decision making and labour planning
Identify skill gaps and tool procurement opportunities in an effort to promote efficiency
Collect business requirements across functional groups for labour deployment-related initiatives
Support the communication of labour solutions and of project timelines to key stakeholder teams
Support/perform the preparation of weekly and of ad hoc labour management performance reporting

Skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience analyzing large datasets.
Advanced proficiency in: Excel and analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar

Intermediate knowledge of statistical modelling is an asset (e.g. predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms)
Direct Manager/Direct Reports Reports to manager, workforce planning and strategy
