Salary Grade: N07 From: $92,000 to $115,000

Job Summary
Are you passionate about risk management, regulatory compliance, and making a difference in the lives of Ontarians? The WSIB is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Associate, Corporate Compliance to join our Corporate Compliance team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Corporate Compliance Program, helping us deliver on our commitment to integrity, accountability, and service excellence.
What You’ll Do
Support compliance excellence: Help design, implement, and administer the WSIB’s Corporate Compliance Program, including legislative compliance, internal fraud, ethics oversight, corporate policy, and WSIA compliance. Be a trusted advisor: Provide technical expertise, advice, and leadership to management across business areas, guiding them to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and internal fraud risks. Drive risk management: Conduct compliance risk assessments, monitor emerging risks, and develop actionable plans to address compliance issues. Enable informed decision-making: Prepare analytics and reports for senior leadership, track key risk indicators, and communicate trends to stakeholders. Foster partnerships: Build strong relationships with internal partners, deliver compliance training, and act as a Compliance Partner to facilitate meaningful dialogue around risk. Champion new initiatives: Participate in corporate projects to ensure compliance needs are met and risks are identified early. Opportunity to apply procurement knowledge: Apply your understanding of procurement legislative and compliance requirements to support compliance activities.
About You
Completion of a college diploma in business, finance, or economics is required; an undergraduate degree is preferred. At least 4-5 years of related experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar field. Strong knowledge of compliance programs, regulatory requirements, and business strategy. Professional designations such as LL.B, J.D., CPA, CA, or CIA are preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
