Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager, Construction Quality Control to join our team. In this role, you will oversee quality assurance on active construction sites, ensuring that all work meets required standards and specifications. You will conduct inspections, identify potential issues before they become costly problems, and work closely with site teams to maintain the highest level of build quality.

Key Responsibilities

Site Inspections & Quality Oversight

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction activities.
  • Identify deficiencies in workmanship, materials, and construction methods.
  • Flag critical construction issues requiring immediate attention.
  • Assess the long-term impact of shortcuts or improper sequencing.

Quality Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure all construction activities meet required codes, specifications, and best practices.
  • Review and verify that proper methods, materials, and timelines are followed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

Communication & Reporting

  • Host meetings to communicate quality-related issues with site teams and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with project managers and trades to address deficiencies promptly.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential construction.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of construction methods across multiple scopes of work.
  • Strong understanding of construction timelines, sequencing, and dependencies.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve quality concerns quickly.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, site-driven environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
