Position Description The Team Lead will serve as the area Supervisor’s assistant and back-up. The Team Lead must possess a thorough knowledge of all current processes and be able to assist other team members as needed to support daily activities.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coordinate teams in warehouse, inventory, material handling and reverse logistics (Returns) areas to meet production goals as well as accuracy, safety, cost, inventory, and team objectives.
  • Recognize scheduling, coverage gaps in all work areas and move team members as needed to meet production requirements and shipping deadlines.
  • Support teams in warehouse, inventory, material handling and reverse logistics (Returns) areas to meet production goals as well as accuracy, safety, cost, inventory, and team objectives.
  • Orientate, train & develop, motivate, counsel and assist team members in work instructions, inventory control standards, and the balanced flow of work and problem resolution.
  • Monitor and audit daily inventory control reports. Resolve potential errors.
  • Identify training opportunities for the reporting team, work with the Supervisor to arrange additional training as needed.
  • Assist the Supervisor in other areas as directed.
  • Must be able to cover any shift to support Supervisor's absence

What You Will Bring

  • One to two years of previous experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair.
  • High school or GED diploma required
  • Computer skills required, AX experience a plus
  • Requires a high level of attention to detail
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact well with staff members at all levels
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
