About the role
Location – Enbridge Athabasca Terminal
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift Schedule - 7/7 Days/Nights 12 hours per day
Camp Accommodations - Housing Provided - meals not included
Travel: Travel to site In company Vehicle
We are currently looking for a Tank Terminal Pigging / Utility Operator who will be responsible for providing onsite response and services to ensure safe and efficient maintenance and operations at assigned location to support and facilitate oil movement and compliance with Regulation and Company policy.
Responsibilities:
-
Batch pigging / pipeline product changes.
-
Custody transfer and quality sample collections (e.g., spot, composite, and cylinder sampling).
-
Tank inspections.
-
Level and temperature accuracy checks.
-
Fire extinguisher, safety, and measurement equipment inspections.
-
Lease maintenance (e.g., stormwater management, vegetation control, lawn care, snow removal).
-
Completing minor repairs and general labor tasks.
-
Housekeeping of terminal facilities.
-
Operating equipment (e.g., loaders, skid steers, telehandlers).
-
Security checks.
-
Documentation and record keeping.
-
Follow safety guidelines, processes, and procedures on the job site.
-
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
-
Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors.
-
Communicate in a polite and courteous manner.
Who you are:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent GED with 3-5 years of related experience preferred. Technical certificate/diploma in maintaining hydrocarbon processes considered an asset
-
Valid Driver’s license in good standing
-
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills
-
Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
-
Mechanically inclined
-
Experience operating loader, skid steer, telehandler an asset
-
Requires repetitive lifting, bending, crouching, standing and lifting, up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, physically demanding outdoor work.
-
You will be required to undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 3 year driving record, and fit-for-work medical clearance.
Working Conditions:
-
Work requires frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and the requirement to wear protective equipment, including donning an SCBA regularly.

Please note the successful candidate will be required to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test, Fit For Work Exam, Respiratory Fitness Test, Mask Fit Test, provided by C.P. Services.
Applicantsmust already holdthe following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain themat their own expenseprior to commencing work.
