About the role

Clean Harbors, in Windsor, ON is looking for PART TIME water blasters / Automotive industrial booth cleaners to work at our Stellantis Windsor Assembly Plant and to join our safety conscious team!

This position is responsible for the successful execution of daily cleaning operations within the manufacturing facility and various other responsibilities. The candidate will be required to work various shifts – days, afternoons, weekends and nightshifts.

Part Time rate of $24.75/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine daily route sheet assignments performing cleaning tasks throughout the facility (janitorial included) restrooms, break rooms, offices, conveyors, skids, exhaust fans, paint booths, automated equipment, ovens, pits and trash; Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment; Pressures ranging from 5k-36k
  • Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations;
  • Must be able to stand on your feet entire shift, bend, stoop, climb ladders/stairs and not be afraid of heights plus be able to work in confined spaces;
  • Additional duties as assigned;
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in cold and hot environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of High Pressure pumps

  • Expereince in industrial cleaning or similar would be an asset

  • Must be able to work weekends and nightshift

  • OSHA certification may be required for this job;

  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;

  • Forklifts/ Scrubbers/ Mobile Equipment Experience a PLUS.

  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
