Duties:

  • Greet and Welcome people entering the Indigenous Peoples’ Centre

  • Assist IPC staff and faculty hosting events

  • Assist the IPC Knowledge Keepers as needed

  • Assist the IPC Staff and Knowledge Keepers with promotion of events

  • Provide assistance with accessing IPC resources

  • Help to keep IPC spaces organized, tidy and stocked

  • Hours may include day, evening, and/or weekends

  • and other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Good academic standing (GPA of 2.0 or better)

  • Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively, and with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work courteously with fellow students, faculty and staff

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable

  • Experience with Canva and event promotion will be considered an asset

  • Preference will be given to current Indigenous Brandon University students
