**This is an in-office role based out of our Downtown Toronto Office.**
About the role
The Property Management Intern is responsible for providing support to the management of the REMS retail department. The intern will also support Colliers Retail assets across Canada. Specific duties will include report preparation, administration, property management, leasing and special projects.
In this role, you will…
- Support the REMS Retail team – Vice President, Senior Property Manager and Retail site teams.
- Support business management including administration, property management, operations, leasing and marketing.
- Assist with property accounting, administration and budgeting related activities.
- Work on any other special projects as required such as process improvements, and policy and documentation updating.
- Other duties as required.
What you’ll bring
- Must be working towards or has completed a Degree and/or diploma in Real Estate Management from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building ability, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.
- Maintains a high degree of discretion and confidentiality; uses diplomacy, discretion, and judgment in giving out information.
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.

Approximate Hourly Range for Role: $20 to $22
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
