Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As aMarketing Specialist, Graphic Designeron the Marketing Brand team you will be responsible for concepting and designing materials that encapsulate Vancity’s bold, contemporary and uncomplicated brand. Your design skills will captivate Vancity members and prospects alike, driving growth and keeping your members informed. You’ll work closely with the rest of our creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop campaign concepts and make our message clear: together, with our members, we’re a financial force for change. You have hands on design, production and concepting experience, and are driven to deliver best-in-class creative across all our platforms.

This is aFull-time, Temporarycontract role based at theVancity head officeand will report directly to theManager, Creative Services Marketing. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Creating engaging content across print, digital, video, social, and in‑branch channels
  • Applying foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS to support digital design needs
  • Analyzing mobile app and microsite designs to ensure brand consistency and provide UX/UI feedback
  • Designing and developing brand icons, illustrations, and visual assets
  • Offering creative input during project preproduction and production stages
  • Collaborating independently or within the team, using strong influencing skills to drive outcomes
  • Providing visual guidance to all lines of business and translating insights into effective design solutions
  • Partnering with advertising agencies to develop marketing campaigns that achieve business objectives

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Education in graphic design, UXUI or multimedia
  • 5 years of professional experience in marketing or creative

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Create assets and animation (2D or 3D) within guidelines.
  • Use video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) to create high-quality video assets that meet brand standards. Video storyboarding, filming and production

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of**$69,700 to $82,000 per annum**. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
