<strong>Field of Activities: </strong><br>Under the authority of the Mohawk Council of Kanesatake and in collaboration with the Kanehsatà:ke Education Center and under the direct supervision of the Ratihente High School Principal, the resource teacher's job is to provide direct instructional support services to students who present learning difficulties. <br><br><strong>Prerequisites:</strong><br><ol><li>Bachelor of Education Degree with specialization in Special Education or Bachelor's degree with teaching license (brevet) and equivalent experience.</li><li>Knowledge of best practices in inclusive education.</li><li>Possess the ability to create a safe and nurturing learning environment that supports the unique developmental needs of children.</li><li>Possess strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Knowledge of Kanien'keha:ka people, language, culture and history is an asset.</li><li>Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal commuication skills and competence in conflit resolution.</li><li>Excellent team building and organization skills.</li></ol>
