DynaIndustrial is actively seeking a Mechanic Shop Manager for our Saskatoon facility. This individual will be someone who is naturally a strong leader and will report directly to the Production Manager. This will be someone that has the drive, determination and ambition to grow the Millwright department through the effective leadership of their staff and the creative management of the shop. This is someone that leads by example and expects from his/her staff what they themselves demonstrate. This person will be the kind of person that thrives in a role where it takes task management and tenacity to hold their team accountable for on time delivery of quality products and services. This person must have a "can do" attitude and the creative ability to meet company goals, but also accepts responsibility when objectives are not met. They are a naturally organized person and are particular about the organizational attributes of every area of the business.
The Mechanic Shop Manager will assist and lead shop staff in coordinate incoming work, managing safety, monitoring purchases, coordinate and order coatings and outside vendor inspections and manage the flow of materials around the shop. They will work directly with Production Staff, the Production Manager, Project Manager and the Quality Control Manager to provide the customer what they need, in the time that they need it and with the quality results that they expect.
Preferred Qualifications Are
- 7 years or more Industrial experience as a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic
- Outgoing and positive personality to deal with internal and external contacts
- 3-5 years similar managerial experience
- Journeyperson ticket will be an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable to proficient computer abilities
- Proven ability to motivate and develop staff
- Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
