Could you be the full-time hybrid Engineering Quality Manager (EQM) in St-Bruno, Quebec we’re looking for?

Your future role

As Engineering Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will be :

  • Assuring the inspection of Engineering deliverables: (self-)inspections, peer reviews, AVVA,...

  • Ensuring that applicable processes and standards are known and applied by Engineering teams

  • Ensuring verification & quality tools are deployed in each project: Design FMEA, Design Review

  • Stopping “non-quality“ of deliverables at the end of every design phase, through challenging Design Reviews

  • Leading Improvements related to Return of Experience (REX) within Engineering, to reduce changes & costs of non-quality.

  • Supporting Engineering to have Lean & Right First Time Processes (more preventive, less corrective).

  • Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) may be required to company sites across the US and Canada.

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Quality or a relevant field, such as Engineering (required)

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills (required)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently (required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering would be an asset:

  • Business acumen

  • Knowledge of problem-solving methods and tools (QRQC / PDCA / 8D methodology)

  • Experience in engineering would be an asset

  • Personal soft skills:
