About the Role
The Claims Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Titanium’s safety, and customer service standards by managing cargo, property damage, and accident-related claims. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams, insurance partners, customers, and drivers, this role ensures claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and committed to achieving timely, fair resolution of claims.
Key Accountabilities
Cargo & Logistics Claims Management
- Receive, review, and process all cargo-related claims, including loss, shortage, damage, contamination, and temperature‑controlled product deviations.
- Validate required documentation such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, rate confirmations, photos, seal records, driver statements, and warehouse reports.
- Investigate claims by working closely with drivers, dispatch, logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and cross‑border teams to gather relevant shipment information.
- Reviewing customer contracts to ensure claim files meet all contractual and customer-specific requirements.
Internal & External Coordination

Communicate with customers regarding claim status, required documentation, and resolution timelines.

Liaise with insurance adjusters, transportation partners, brokers, and carriers to submit claims and support recovery efforts.

Coordinate with third parties to identify root causes and communicate with senior management to prevent recurring issues.
Tracking, Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate digital claim files and ensure timely updates within claims repository. Tracking settlement amounts and recoveries
- Track claim progress, settlement amounts, recoveries, and outstanding documentation.
- Prepare detailed incident summaries and internal reports for department leadership.
- Support trend reporting relating to cargo claims, preventable damage, and logistics issues.
Position Requirements

Minimum 1 years’ experience in the transportation industry.

Experience handling cargo claims or freight/logistics administration is a strong asset.

Proficiency with MS Office; experience with TMW or claims portals is an asset.

High school diploma required;
-
High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation organization.

Strong written/verbal communication and customer service skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
