CI Financial is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Manager, Fund Administration & Oversight to lead the operational oversight of its Canadian investment fund products, including mutual funds, ETFs, pooled funds, and segregated funds. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of fund accounting, valuation, and reporting processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational integrity, managing third-party relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives across the fund lifecycle.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Fund Oversight & Governance

Monitor daily Net Asset Value (NAV) oversight, pricing sent to transfer agency and NAV validations.

Monitor internal data governance for all CI products.

Monitor fund accounting activities performed by third-party fund administrators and custodians.
Operational Excellence
-
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fund administration processes, controls, and systems.

Managing fund-on-fund operations and reporting for CI mutual funds and segregated funds, including model portfolios.

Support operational aspects of fund launches, mergers, terminations, and structural changes.

Collaborate with technology teams to implement automation and improve data integrity across platforms.

Ensure alignment with industry best practices and CI Financial’s operational standards.
Compliance & Risk Management

Coordinate responses to internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and resolution of findings.

Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) with external vendors and custodians to ensure performance standards are met.

Identify and mitigate operational risks through proactive controls and process reviews.

Develop and execute policies and procedures for fund oversight and controls
Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a liaison between Fund Administration and Oversight team and internal teams including Legal, Compliance, Product, and Client Services.

Provide subject matter expertise on fund structures, operational processes, and regulatory developments.

Lead cross-functional working groups to address operational challenges and support strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of fund administration professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and support career growth.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
