Position Description Join our team as a Programmer Analyst on the Systems Integration and Conversion Team!
In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing patient care by maintaining and improving the integrations between the Epic Health Information System, Ontario Health, and the Atlas Alliance (comprising 9 hospitals and 1 clinic). The Programmer Interface Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication between various healthcare systems, such as electronic health records, lab systems, radiology systems, and other clinical or administrative software. Their primary responsibility is to design, develop, implement, and maintain interfaces that enable different systems to exchange information accurately and efficiently.
Rotation/Shifts Days, 8 hour shifts.

What You Will Bring
- University degree and/or college plus equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years work experience in a computer programming environment demonstrating strong analytical and programming skills (various languages and platforms using structured methods).
- 3 years experience in troubleshooting and debugging applications - 24hr on call rotation.
- 3 years experience creating system test plans and conducting system tests.
- Excellent communications skills (oral and written).
- 3 years experience analyzing and documenting business requirements and recommending solutions.
- Excellent client service skills including patience and diplomacy.
You will stand out with:
- Knowledge of Integration Engines (Lyniate Rhapsody & EPIC Bridge or others).
- Experience in data conversion including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server).
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript.
- Knowledge System Messaging standards such as HL7, FHIR, XML.
- Knowledge of Web Services.
- Proficiency in speaking and comprehending both English and French (level B+).
