Reporting to the Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be a key player in promoting safety across the site.
You'll Do:
- All aspects of first aid for 200+ employees at a time
- Perform audiometric testing and respirator fit testing
- Issue indoctrinations, hot work permits, and vessel entry gas testing as required
- Monitor vehicle traffic entering mill and parking lots
- Front line communication with visitors to the mill
- Maintain the entrance to site
- Other duties as required
You have:
- Open work availability for this full-time shift relief position
- Advanced (level III) First Aid certificate required
- High commitment to safety
- Positive and self-motivated attitude
- Working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office competency
- Excellent skills in all forms of communication
- A valid drivers license
The following is an asset:
- Proven first aid skills
- Industrial experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Industrial Audiometric Technician certificate
Compensation Package:
- The hourly pay rate for this position will follow the collective agreement between Unifor 1115 and Cariboo Pulp & Paper Company. The current rate is $38.445/hour.
- Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.

Located in Quesnel, BC, Cariboo Pulp and Paper is a forerunning producer of NBSK pulp as well as clean, green energy.
