About the Role

Brookfield Renewable operates a sophisticated financial consolidation and reporting environment globally, powered by OneStream. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst – OneStream to support the evolution of our consolidation and reporting capabilities. This individual will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to translate business needs into system solutions, leveraging their understanding of consolidation accounting and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements related to financial consolidation, financial reporting and financial planning and analysis in OneStream.
  • Solicit, gather, analyze and document stakeholder requirements related to system improvements and projects
  • Support the design and development of OneStream solutions aligning with business requirements
  • Support the design and delivery of financial and management reports, dashboards, and analytics within OneStream.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new features, functions and enhancements
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving OneStream issues, working closely with support teams and end users.
  • Contribute to governance processes for metadata, hierarchies, and reporting structures.
  • Provide training and documentation to end users and stakeholders as needed.
  • Work closely with the Senior Architect to ensure consistency in data structures and overall system design and architecture.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial systems or business analysis, preferably in a large, multi-entity organization.
  • Strong understanding of advanced financial consolidation concepts, Hands-on experience with OneStream or similar EPM/CPM platforms (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, etc..).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial requirements into system solutions.

Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
