Production Scheduler

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Production Scheduler, you are maintaining and executing the production schedule to meet the orders committed by our Supply Planning team. In this role, you will leverage relationships with internal and external partners to maintain our production capacity to deliver on time within our agreed performance matrix. You will collaborate with the internal teams, especially our Raw Materials and Production team that schedule is aligned and followed.

You will be part of Planning team, working with departments within our manufacturing facility including but not limited to Raw Material, Production and Engineering.
###If you were our Production Scheduler today, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Effectively support planning, managing, analyzing, and adjusting the scheduling of our production floor to deliver to all production KPIs
- Thoughtfully evaluate all scheduling decisions and their impact on production deliverables by collaborating effectively with internal and external partners
- Collaborating with Production Planning and Scheduling Lead to determine optimal schedule for future seasons and align with internal teams to support the delivery of this plan
- Partner with our production line Supervisors to successfully drive the delivery of our orders
- Collaborate with our engineering team to allow accurate planning and scheduling of new product season to season, aligning the seasonal scheduling process with the new product process
- Communicate line changeover in a timely manner, ensuring full support from engineering, quality and training to allow a successful transition
- Communicate effectively to our internal and external partners when the schedule or delivery of a production order has been updated
- Drive continuous improvement of our production processes to improve output, delivery, efficiency, and cost
- Prepare and analyze planning KPIs pertaining to the capacity planning and scheduling processes, provide root cause analysis on KPI trends and drive action to address issues as required
- Communicate changes clearly to all impacted teams and act as a central contact for questions related to schedule or resource adjustments.

- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency of Planning and Scheduling process
- Drive ARC’One KPI alignment with Supply Chain KPI in terms of tools and method
###Are you our next Production Scheduler?
- You have a bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Economics, Database Management System or similar discipline, along with 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing scheduling role
- You have experience with ERP and MES systems
- Database Management System experience is ideal
- Exposure to Lean or 6 Sigma training or experience is ideal
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- You can work both independently and within a team
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing to drive negotiation and collaboration with partner teams
- You are strong in Microsoft Excel and proficient in the use of other Microsoft Office applications
- You seek and execute the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You drive breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
$62,000 - $77,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$62,000 - CAD$77,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
