The Program:
Hull Services’ Marketing and Communications department leads strategic storytelling, brand stewardship, and multi-channel campaigns to elevate the Agency’s profile and foster engagement. The team collaborates across programs to deliver clear, consistent messaging through digital marketing, media relations, internal communications, donor outreach, and promotional content—all aligned with Agency goals and values.
The Position:
The Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator plays a pivot role in leveraging digital initiatives to help meet Hull’s fundraising and lead generation targets, ensuring that online efforts directly support the Agency’s growth and sustainability. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Communications, this role coordinates and executes Hull’s digital presence and strategy—including the website, social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns. The Coordinator ensures that Hull’s digital storytelling is compelling, accessible, and aligned with the Agency’s brand and mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize the Hull Services website, ensuring up-to-date content, functionality, and SEO performance.
- In coordination with the Marketing and Communications Specialists, plan, create, and schedule content across all social media platforms to enhance and optimize visibility and engagement.
- Lead the strategy and execution of multi-channel digital campaigns—including email, paid media (Google Ads, Meta), and brand awareness initiatives—to drive engagement and achieve marketing objectives.
- Oversee paid digital ad campaigns from start to finish across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn—handling targeting, bidding, A/B testing, performance tracking, and ongoing optimization using data insights.
- Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics to inform content strategy and improve outcomes.
- Extract and analyze data from internal databases to generate targeted lists and performance reports that support digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to support digital storytelling through video, photography, and graphic design.
- Stay current with digital trends and tools to continuously improve Hull’s online communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field is required.
- Proficiency in website CMS platforms, social media management tools, and analytics dashboards.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience with digital advertising and campaign management.
- Experience with design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to support the creation of engaging materials.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with colleagues across various functions.
- Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft 365.
- Clear Police Information Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check) and Intervention Record Check.
- Cross-cultural competence; knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the recommendations, goals, and activities of the commission.
- Experience working in the social services non-profit sector considered an asset.
