Procurement Specialist

We are currently looking to augment our roster with Procurement Specialists for our clients in the public and broader public sector.

We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills excellent communication with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams from diverse business units. You will be responsible for conducting procurement processes from planning to completion, develop procurement documents such as RFx’s, specifications, SOWs, agreements, reports and correspondence.

You will also be managing concurrent procurement projects, work with lawyers and clients to develop terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • You have more than 5 years of experience in procurement of goods and services;
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field;
  • You have excellent market research skills, procurement planning, sourcing and analysis, negotiation, and contract management skills;
  • You remain current with procurement related legislation and industry best practices to work efficiently and effectively with an aim to achieve the best value outcome;
  • You have stellar interpersonal skills and have the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams from diverse business units.
