If so, we are looking for students with business acumen, rigorous technical skill and flashes of creative genius to join our DevSecOps and Environment Automation team. We leverage technologies preferred in the financial services industry to deliver both software solutions to our investment professionals and tools to enhance our internal development capability. Students in the past have been involved in projects relating to performance and risk measurement, trade order management, portfolio accounting, master data management, business intelligence, and DevOps!

Who you’ll work with
Joining the DevSecOps and Environment Automation team you will work in a project team to deliver automation pipelines. With support from a mentor, you will have the opportunity to engage with colleagues from across the organization; such as project delivery team, and other technical specialists within the development and infrastructure teams.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate and design pipeline jobs to achieve Continuous Integration/Delivery
- Develop best standards for developing pipelines for DevSecOps
- Promote the adoption of CI/CD with various customers
- Development and integration of software solutions and technical tools
- Participate in new technology investigations and apply this knowledge through solution delivery
What you’ll need
- Working towards Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and growth attitude
- Experience using object-oriented programming patterns and designs, with exposure to technologies such as:
- Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and C#
- WCF and RESTful services using ASP.NET WebAPI
- Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Web development using Angular, HTML5, JavaScript frameworks
- Good scripting knowledge using Python, Powershell, Groovy, Bash
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools as such as Jenkins, Ansible and basic familiarity with Cloud Technologies
- Basic understanding of containers
- Exposure to various software development methodologies and practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Scrum and Agile.
- You should be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to your studies after the work term is completed
