Wage or Salary: $16.76/hr
Hours of Work: varies per week; up to 30 hours per month

Length of Appointment: 09/30/2025 to 08/31/2026

Duties:

  1. Be energetic, enthusiastic and be able to engage with the crowd at Bobcat games and special events

  2. Work well with children

  3. Be available to work predominately evenings and weekends at games. There may be some special events that require daytime attendance

  4. Be comfortable participating in and/or lead half-time and between set entertainment during Bobcat games

  5. Attend community functions and special events as Bailey

  6. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  1. Previous experience working with children is an asset, but not required

  2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and/or with others effectively

  3. Physical literacy – the successful candidate can move, dance, etc within the mascot costume

  4. Interest and knowledge of sports (specifically basketball, volleyball and soccer) is an asset but not required.
