Job Description CEDA is looking for Journeyman Pipefitters and Apprentice Pipefitters for camp work with our client in Conklin, AB. This position is open to direct service providers (DSP) What we offer: Competitive rate Camp Accommodations Temporary Full Time until September 30, 2026 Shift: 21x7 - 12 hr Days Key Duties & Responsibilities: Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps) Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints Liaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliers Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers Provides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system Install supports, valves, piping and control systems Test system for leaks using testing equipment Other duties as assigned Role Specifications: Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter (Red Seal preferred) required OR registered apprentice H2S Alive and CSO or CSTS, First Aid required - Confined Space, Fall Arrest (AWP) considered an asset. Receptive to change and can adapt to changing circumstances Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA Additional Information The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
