About the role
Our client, a leading retail client, is seeking a Senior Payroll Coordinator to join their Finance team. This role will support Payroll, Benefits, Pension, and Absence administration for Canadian and US employee groups. This is a high-volume, detail-oriented role, ideal for someone with payroll experience in a multi-national environment.
Key Responsibilitie
- sProcess and validate multiple pay frequency payroll cycles for Canadian and US employees, ensuring accuracy and timely processin
- gCompile and remit Withholding Order
- sComplete and review audit reports for accuracy and reasonabilit
- yProvide exceptional customer service regarding colleague life-cycle inquirie
- sDevelop compliance knowledge of relevant payroll, benefits, pension, and absence administration regulations and legislation in both Canada and the US, including union agreement

- orExperience with full-cycle payroll, benefits, pension, and absence administration in a large multi-national organization (Canada and US operation
- s)Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation is considered an ass
- etStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to deta
- ilAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while prioritizing tasks effective
- lyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday (HRIS and Payroll), SAP, or time and attendance systems (STAS, Kronos, Workday) is an ass
- etExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual (English/French) is an ass
