Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $19.00 to $20.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
- Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.
Job Summary Handle the daily outside operations of the Golf Club in accordance with the policies and objectives of the Copper Creek Golf Course.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work opening, closing and mid-day shifts as scheduled by the Operations Supervisor.
- Prepare and clean golf carts for incoming guests.
- Welcome and provide guests with course information.
- Maintain and clean the course warm up and cart staging area.
- Monitor pace of play and instruct guests appropriately as needed.
- Enforce all course policies with all guests in a professional manner.
- Communicate as needed with the golf shop staff, maintenance staff and guests to pass along daily messages about course conditions, alerts or other.
- Communicate to your supervisor about any problems seen on the course or around the cart staging area.
- Communicate to maintenance any unforeseen on-course issues that arise.
- Always act in a manner that will make our guests feel important and welcome.
- Wear a clean golf course uniform and name tag while on duty.
- Perform any other duties relating to the golf course assigned by the Golf Operations Supervisor, Golf Shop Foreman or Golf Course Manager.

- This position is a seasonal position and may have fluctuations in hours worked based upon overall business volumes.

- This position may require the use of a mountain radio/walkie-talkies for communication
Preferred Experience And Special Skills
- Previous Customer Service Experience
- Knowledge of golf course operations and the game of golf
- A personality conducive to dealing with the public.
- Golfer preferred

Copper Mountain Resort is The Athlete's Mountain. Located in Summit County, Colorado, about 75 miles (121 km) west of Denver on Interstate 70, the resort opened in late 1971. Iit was owned and operated by Intrawest until Dec. 2009, when operations were transferred to Powdr Adventure Lifestyle Co.
The ski area features beginner slopes on the western side of the mountain, intermediate slopes in the center, and expert terrain on the eastern side. Advanced "double black diamond" slopes are located on the two peaks above 12,000 feet (Copper and Union Peaks), including four expert-only bowls: Copper Bowl, Union Bowl, Spaulding Bowl, and Resolution Bowl. Copper Mountain Ski Resort has 2,465 acres of in-bounds terrain under lease from the United States Forest Service, White River National Forest, Dillon Ranger District.
