Assignment Description
Our client, is seeking a highly experienced Scheduling Lead for a major project. This is a critical leadership role on a high-value, schedule-driven project.
If you're a seasoned construction scheduler with a deep understanding of large industrial facilities — and have mastery in Primavera P6, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy
- Monitor progress and forecast completion dates, identifying critical path items and risks
- Lead schedule reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting on schedule performance (weekly/monthly)
- Support the construction team in identifying potential delays and assist in mitigation planning
- Maintain and organize historical data for future reference and benchmarking
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in construction scheduling, ideally in heavy industrial or projects
- Proven experience on auxiliary boiler houses or similar large-scale industrial builds
- Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work on-site with a collaborative, boots-on-the-ground team
- Engineering or technical diploma/degree is an asset
