Who you are
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Experience with any of the following: Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, containers)
- CI/CD pipelines and git (Gitlab, Github)
- Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
- Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, Ansible)
- Networking, and security
- Linux, Python, bash
- Ability to quickly learn and internalize new technologies
- Excellent systems debugging and design skills
- Familiarity with cross-team collaboration
- Time management and task prioritization in a fast paced environment
- Above all else, a consistently positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to create robust solutions to mission objectives
- Successful candidates will be a proponent of personal responsibility for themselves and their teammates

What the job involves
- Sanctuary AI, a world leader in building AI-based control systems for humanoid robots, is looking to hire a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps/SecOps team
- The DevOps Engineer is a crucial part of our team, supporting infrastructure, automation, and internal tooling
- Reporting to the DevOps Tech Lead, you’ll contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our growing organization
- Own our team’s observability stack end-to-end - cloud resources, applications, dashboards, and automated backups
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability scanning, distributed storage, and internal compute resources in a hybrid cloud environment
- Collaborate with our software engineering and machine learning research teams to support and improve their day-to-day work
- Continuously deepen our team’s expertise in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Grafana, and Azure
- Collaborate on high impact projects across multiple teams, providing guidance and expertise to other teams on cloud, CI/CD, security and containerization
- Design and implement automation that eliminates operational toil and frees engineering teams to focus on high-impact work
