About the role

Description: The Senior Stores Attendant is responsible for customer service and supply distribution activities that include ordering, receiving, maintenance of warehouse and top-up cart inventories, tracking of all transactions, monitoring quotas, and ensuring that supplies are available for the department. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Able to lift up to and including 50–100 lbs. Over 2 years of recent experience managing inventory in a computerized environment, including logistics, inventory control, and vendor coordination within a food service setting. Skilled in resolving discrepancies and issues promptly and accurately; proficient in managing inventory counts and assessing the quality of received goods. Capable of processing invoices with strong numeracy skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Demonstrated physical stamina for tasks involving lifting, moving, and organizing inventory. Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions and handling chemicals safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

experience in Oracle purchasing program and software related to Food Services Food Safety Certificate WHMIS Certificate
