With a reputation for professionalism, quality, and reliability, we are expanding our office team and seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support our financial operations.
Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper with solid experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (AR/AP). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple financial processes with accuracy and efficiency. This role is key to ensuring the financial health and smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and update vendor and customer records in accounting systems.
- Process and verify payroll data entry and employee time tracking records.
- Prepare reports to support month-end and year-end financial activities.
- Communicate professionally with clients and vendors regarding payments and invoices.
- Maintain well-organized filing systems for financial documentation.
- Assist management with financial analysis and other accounting tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or AR/AP experience (service-based or small business environment an asset).
- Previous payroll experience is required.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
