About the Role:

Reporting to the Director, Technology, the Manager of Business Systems will be responsible for the management of strategic business systems and applications for Clarion Medical and Healthmark divisions. This role will also collaborate closely with Director, Technology, and business units to spearhead digital transformation initiatives and strategic business systems and application upgrades.

The successful applicant will:

  • Plan, lead and implement initiatives and continuous improvement of current and new enterprise business systems and applications to optimize operational efficiency and business outcome delivery (i.e. Great plains, Business Central, Hubspot, E-commerce, Kardex WMS, etc.).
  • Act as a technical lead for strategic projects including ERP upgrade (Business Central) from Great Plains.
  • Lead business systems team and help the organization maintain a stable and responsive portfolio of enterprise business systems/applications.
  • Build successful stakeholder relationships by developing a clear understanding of business needs and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implementing best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with direct reports to support their career progression and help them realize their potential.
  • Keep track of trends and provide direction on what emerging technologies should be incorporated into the current business systems portfolio.
  • Support Director, Technology in implementing organization wide reporting platform and related data and system integrations, on a need basis.
  • Ensure data integrity, security and compliance within business systems/applications including access controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with third party cloud application providers for operational efficiency and necessary upgrades.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • 5-7 years of experience in business systems/applications management.
  • Bachelors degree in IT related field.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (Business Central preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of databases (SQL and other languages), integration technologies and software development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and workflows as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Hands on experience with various reporting platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, IT teams and vendors.
  • Experience in leading application developers, analysts or support personnel.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, priorities and technologies.
  • Willingness to learn and explore new applications and technologies as required.
  • Understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies including Office 365 and Azure is an asset.
