Position Summary

Kiewit is hiring an experienced Derrick Barge Columbia Crane Operator for the Marine Yard in Coquitlam, BC.

Requirements

  • Valid Crane Operator Certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience operating cranes in marine or heavy civil environments
  • Derrick barge experience
  • Hands-on friction crane experience
  • Demostrated dredge and piling experience
  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract

Shift Information

  • Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day, day shifts
  • Saturday, Sunday and/or Statutory Holiday work may be required as needed
  • Overtime over 8 hours/shift or 40 hours/week

Additional Information

  • Wage: $52.47
  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test

Project Information

The Kiewit Marine Yard actively services Kiewit’s Canadian marine fleet and other construction equipment. Yard operations primarily involve staging equipment and materials on land, transferring materials to and from barges, and fabricating materials for various projects.
