Who You Are & What You'll Do Join our team as a Graphic Designer/Content Creator. This will be a part time role and can be based out of any of our locations. Due to the nature of the role, we are only able to consider applications from the GTA area.
We're looking for a self-driving, high-energy individual with strong design and content creation skills. You will be closely working with the Marketing Manager to translate into visual elements all the marketing strategy, the company's values, and offerings. Additionally, the candidate is comfortable making recommendations, has creative thinking, and can manage multiple priorities.
For this position, you will oversee creating different types of media for all of our online and offline communication channels. The main responsibilities would be designing and producing content for social media platforms (graphics and short video formats), designing emails, working with visual aspects of the website, producing and editing video content, and developing branding material.
- Conceive, develop, and create media assets for all marketing communication channels (social media, website, email, print, blog, ads)
- Work closely with the marketing manager to update content strategy
- Monitor competitors and industry activity to ensure all our media outputs reflect the latest trends
- Produce and develop short videos for media channels
- Develop design elements for websites such as icons, and imagery, (creating wireframes is a plus!).
- Maintain a cohesive visual strategy across all platforms
- Develop wireframes for web pages and specific ad campaigns
What You Bring
- 1-2 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Have a degree or in the process of completing studies in graphic design. Recent graduates are welcome
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Must be comfortable with writing copy
- Experience in motion design and video/ photo production
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
Compensation BeWell Health Centres off a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing. This role will be based off an hourly rate as an hourly employee or independent contractor.
