Compensation $62,300 - $116,800 Purpose This role will play an instrumental role in evolving the Human Resources function by partnering with business leaders and Regional HR to develop HR solutions that support operational effectiveness and the achievement of business objectives. The goal is to maximize the value of our HR endeavors that will help Sysco Canada as a whole. The role will provide guidance to business leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, training and development, and succession to support a positive employee experience and promote a performance-based culture. Responsibilities Initiate and lead assigned HR programs and projects. Conduct HR research through various methods (data collection, surveys etc.), track and analyze metrics and suggest insight to improve decision making. Provide advice and recommendations to HR associates for resolution of daily issues Assist in recruiting, employee relations matters, performance management, training and development, and succession planning. Assist in the development and integration of policies. Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects. Assist with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow. Developing methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects Conduct training sessions related to specific HR programs. Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, program and application of related government laws and regulations. Supports internal audit process to ensure consistent format and compliance with Sysco policy and legislative requirements. Conduct confidential and potentially sensitive internal investigations when required and as directed, using Sysco's established procedures for consistency and compliance Draft HR Communications on behalf of the President and/or VP, Field HR Canada. Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met. Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor. Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience. Experience in project management preferably HR related. University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources. CHRP or CHRL Designation. Demonstrated ability to quickly assess organizational HR needs/ culture and implement appropriate interventions. Strong written and oral communication skills, including skills in developing and delivering presentations for audiences of all levels of business. Expert with MS Office Suite and HRIS programs Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment. Développer des méthodes de compilation et d'analyse de données pour les rapports et projets spéciaux. Animer des séances de formation liées à des programmes RH spécifiques. Fournir des conseils et de l'accompagnement à la haute direction et aux partenaires organisationnels dans l'interprétation des politiques, procédures, programmes et de l'application des lois et règlements gouvernementaux en matière de ressources humaines. Soutenir le processus d'audit interne afin d'assurer l'uniformité et la conformité aux politiques de Sysco et aux exigences légales. Mener, au besoin et selon les directives, des enquêtes internes confidentielles et potentiellement sensibles conformément aux procédures établies par Sysco. Rédiger des communications RH au nom du président et/ou du vice-président, RH terrain Canada. Se conformer aux politiques et procédures de sécurité alimentaire de Sysco afin d'assurer le respect des exigences en matière de sécurité, qualité et légalité des aliments. Travailler de manière sécuritaire avec un impact environnemental minimal et signaler immédiatement à son supérieur tout risque, incident ou déversement environnemental. Comprendre son rôle essentiel en matière de sécurité personnelle et collective, et intervenir en présence de dangers. Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe au besoin. Qualifications Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience progressive en ressources humaines. Expérience en gestion de projets, idéalement dans un contexte RH. Diplôme universitaire ou collégial en ressources humaines. Titre professionnel CHRP ou CHRL. Capacité démontrée d'évaluer rapidement les besoins RH et la culture organisationnelle, et de mettre en œuvre des interventions appropriées. Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, incluant la capacité de préparer et de présenter à des auditoires de tous les niveaux organisationnels. Maîtrise de la suite MS Office et des systèmes d'information RH (SIRH). Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique, en constante évolution et à rythme rapide.
