Position: Legal Content Developer

Type: Contract Compensation: $70–$80/hour Location: Remote Duration: 2 months Commitment: 20+ hours/week Role Responsibilities

  • Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex nuances in legal practices in China, reflecting region-specific laws and terminology.
  • Write fluently in both Simplified Chinese and English, ensuring precise legal terminology and nuanced expression.
  • Provide cultural insights specific to the Chinese legal system.
  • Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content and validate accuracy.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while aligning outputs with legal standard practices in China.

Qualifications Must-Have

  • Native Mandarin speaker with strong written and spoken English.
  • Advanced degree in Law.
  • 2–6+ years of practicing law in China.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with assessment and rubric development.
  • Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
