Full Stack Engineer (12 month contract)

What you will do
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing innovative AI-powered through:
- Working closely with the internal leadership and customers, product owners, data scientists, data engineers and other software engineers to build robust digital use cases
- Actively leading technical discussions and generate new ideas to enhance the value we deliver
In this role, you will:
- Proactively take on challenging problems and effectively influence and collaborate with people both inside and outside the technical team, and where necessary educate/lead on process and developing of solutions in response to customer need through direct contact with leadership and operations team
- Develop front-end and back-end code for new features that will integrate with existing tools and platforms
- Collaborate with data engineers and other full-stack developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews to provide updates on progress and discuss challenges
- Produce clear and detailed documentation for all code and processes to support ongoing development and maintenance
- Take the lead in discussing technical solutions and product ideas in design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews
- Promote reusability, scalability and performance of the solutions, from data ingestion to front-end
- Communicate with business stakeholders to set and manage expectations about delivery methods and timelines
What you will bring
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related filed
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, SQL, and frameworks such as ReactJS, Django, and Node.js.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and familiarity with Git and Linux
- Excellent communication: Able to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with team members
- Curious and resourceful: Eager to explore new technologies and find creative solutions to challenges
- Autonomous: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks effectively
- Quick learner: Able to rapidly grasp new concepts, tools, and methodologies
- Attention to detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
- Flexible and adaptable: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adjust to changing project requirements and priorities
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability and agility to work across multiple organizational levels
- Familiarity with Azure CI/CD pipelines considered an asset
- Experience with Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services considered an asset
- Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset

The starting range for this role is $95,000-$115,000 – or higher, depending on your experience.
