About the role

OVERVIEW

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite per week)

Contract Length: 12 months (possibility of extension or conversion to full-time)

Start Date: December 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Overtime: Not expected

Hourly Rate: up to $35.50 T4

The Channel Strategy Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies. This position focuses on ensuring communications are timely, relevant, and aligned with broader marketing objectives. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, analytical capability, and hands-on experience in digital campaign execution.

Working closely with internal marketing, partnerships, and analytics teams, the Specialist contributes to media planning, campaign performance optimization, and the implementation of marketing technology initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, programmatic, search, and owned channels.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in media planning and campaign strategy.
  • Assist in targeting, optimization, and measurement of digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to automate campaign orchestration and improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with analytics teams to track performance and leverage insights for optimization.
  • Support omni-channel measurement initiatives to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage day-to-day project execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Communicate campaign results and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3 years of experience in media planning or digital marketing campaign management.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel campaign execution (email, web, social, programmatic, search, AdTech, AdOps).
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Proven ability to monitor campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Experience in agency environments or client-side marketing teams is an asset.

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or related field.
  • Experience working within loyalty programs, financial services, or credit card marketing.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and external agency coordination.
