At Angstrom Engineering, we develop products and services focused on supporting the nanotechnology community. Our products include a broad range of thin film deposition machinery, which we design and manufacture, as well as process development and deposition services.

OVERVIEW

The Accounting Manager is a new role that will play a key role within the Finance team, supporting the Financial Controller in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and local tax jurisdictions, maintaining strong internal controls, and support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

This role combines hands-on accounting oversight with analytical leadership, focusing on inventory, job costing, and operational reporting within a custom manufacturing environment. The Accounting Manager will be a technical accounting resource and support to the Finance team, enhance financial visibility through meaningful reporting and KPIs, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve performance across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Month end close process including management reporting
  • Project job cost and inventory oversight
  • Full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable process
  • Support cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Finance Team leadership and operational support
  • Process improvement and systems enhancement
  • Compliance and internal controls QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW: CPA designation (required) Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Proven ability to lead or supervise a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems/ERP environments Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills

PAY RANGE

$40.86 – $55.30 The listed pay range represents the expected compensation for this position. Individual pay will be determined by factors such as job‑related skills, applicable experience, and relevant education and training.
