Role:
The Executive Director of Sales, Field Growth is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for driving revenue growth through the execution of national or regional field sales strategies. This role leads SMB and Mid-Market sales teams with significant focus on Genius, develops market expansion initiatives, and ensures alignment with broader organizational objectives. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of field sales delivery, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue optimization. The Executive Director partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, operations, and finance, to deliver consistent, scalable sales performance across assigned territories.
What you’ll own:
Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute field sales strategies aligned with corporate growth targets. Identify new market SMB and MId Market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams. Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans for regional and territory teams. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales leaders and frontline managers. Build a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture. Revenue Performance & Forecasting Own and deliver revenue targets, pipeline health, and key sales KPIs. Oversee forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Monitor performance trends and adjust strategies to optimize results. Customer & Market Engagement Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and accounts. Represent the organization in high-value negotiations and strategic deals. Provide market intelligence to inform product and go-to-market strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product and operations to ensure customer needs are reflected in offerings and delivery. Collaborate with finance and HR on budget management, compensation strategy, and workforce planning. Operational Excellence Drive consistency and discipline in sales processes, tools, and reporting. Leverage data and analytics to improve decision-making and sales productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sales practices.
What you’ll bring:
Degree in Business Management, Finance or related field. Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience (in/or with sales preferred). Located in Toronto or Montreal and available to come to our offices when necessary. Proficiency in MS Office.
It’s a bonus if you have:
Experience in the Fintech industry Knowledge and understanding of payment industry terminology Bilingualism in French and English may be required as per location
