Position Details
The Faculty of Arts and Science requires the services of a qualified Administrative Support in a continuing position, beginning as soon as possible. This position is full-time from September to April each year, with half-time hours from May-August.
We are seeking an independent, service-oriented individual who will take initiative and contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Arts and Science Administrative Support Team.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for Arts and Science academic programs and will initially be assigned primary responsibility for support for the Department of Geography & Environment and the Women and Gender Studies program.

Position Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a two-year Office Administration or comparable diploma, and a minimum of three years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven administrative skills (including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, basic financial transactions, and web site updating), with great attention to detail and accuracy are required, as are excellent communication, organizational, record-keeping, filing and telephone skills. The successful candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with interruptions and overlapping deadlines, and exercising independent judgement, while maintaining effective working relationships within the University community.
Preference will be given to candidates who have familiarity with the University of Lethbridge programs and systems, and experience working in a post secondary environment.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,017.00 - $4,469.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,017.00 - $4,921.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 8)
