LOGISTICS AND PARTS ASSOCIATE
Schedule/location of work:
8 Hour Days – Monday to Friday
Facility in Rosenort, MB (35 mins South of Winnipeg)
About the Role:
Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Logistics and Parts associate. In this role you will be responsible for parts sales support, logistics support, and daily administrative tasks like invoicing and work order management. This individual would work with the Parts Sales and Supply Chain teams and report directly to the Logistics Coordinator.
key duties and responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails and phone calls.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to address inquiries, concerns, and provide accurate information to our customers and dealers.
- Invoice parts sales orders with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Utilize experience in order invoicing to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Generate and manage shipping documents for orders, coordinating with carriers such as UPS or FedEx.
- Prepare customs documentation.
- Arrange LTL and FTL shipments for inbound/outbound freight.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Create and maintain work orders efficiently, ensuring all necessary details are accurately documented.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and responsiveness.
- Proficiency in working with parts manuals is preferred.
- Experience with order invoicing is an asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Previous experience working with shipping carriers such as UPS or FedEx is an advantage.
- Experience with completing and interpreting customs documentation is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, sales support, or administrative role.
- Familiarity with the construction equipment industry or related fields is a strong advantage.
