About the role
This freelance opportunity involves editing video content captured during an industrial company’s team getaway to the Kimberley. The footage includes a mix of drone and GoPro shots, offering a variety of perspectives and dynamic visuals. The goal is to create two polished edits: a concise highlight reel and a comprehensive long-form video that captures the spirit and memorable moments of the trip. The project is fully remote, allowing you to work flexibly while delivering professional-quality results.
Deliverables
- Edit a 5–10 minute highlight video showcasing key moments and scenic shots from the trip.
- Produce a 2–3 hour long-form video, maintaining narrative flow and visual interest throughout.
- Incorporate transitions, color correction, and audio balancing to ensure a cohesive final product.
- Sync footage from multiple sources (drone, GoPro) for seamless storytelling.
- Deliver final videos in high-resolution formats suitable for sharing and archiving.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio demonstrating similar projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong skills in color grading, audio editing, and multi-camera syncing.
- Ability to work independently and manage large volumes of footage efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative storytelling abilities.
- Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration and file transfers.
- Availability to start promptly and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
