Job Description
Banquets Houseperson Showcase your service and organization strengths as a Banquets Houseperson, where your attention to detail, safety and quality will help “set the stage” for a successful group function. This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning August 2026.
Starting Rate of Pay: $19.35 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.75.
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas Lift and store tables, chairs and staging efficiently and safely Set-up, maintain and break down banquet\meeting rooms Follow directions from banquet event orders for assigned banquet\meetings Report needed repairs of unsafe equipment and\or conditions Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards Qualifications Serving It Right Certificate required Previous guest service experience Previous experience in Banquets is preferred Job Perks & Benefits: Subsidized staff accommodation provided Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shift Access to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwide Hotel leisure benefits including Golf/Ski passes Additional Information Visa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
