Job Profile
The Pile Fabrication Manager is directly responsible for the production of helical piles, pile caps and other piling products ensuring top standards of quality, safety and efficiency. You will supervise welding staff and will also play a key role in fostering a high-performance team and driving continuous improvement initatives to optimize workflows, boost productivity and deliver exceptional results.

Job Duties
- Provide strong leadership, building a positive, accountable team culture focused on safety, quality, and performance.
- Lead and manage the welding of structural steel components in accordance with standards and specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate all day shift and evening shift fabrication activities, including fitting, welding, and pipe and plate plasma cutting.
- Interpret and apply welding procedures, shop drawings, blueprints, and applicable fabrication standards.
- Research and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve production capacity.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and project management teams to solve problems and meet production targets.
- Actively lead safety improvements, working closely with the health and safety team.
- Ensure that all manufacturing equipment is well maintained.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Welder certification
- 5+ years in a supervisory or foreman role, with a focus on building strong teams.
- Strong working knowledge of welding, heavy structural fabrication, and plasma cutting processes.
- Proven experience working with CWB procedures and standards; ableto lead CWB welder qualifications and inspections.
- Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement and/or lean manufacturing initiatives in a production environment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Committed to health and safety with a track record of promoting a safety-focused culture.
- Strong computer and technology skills, comfortable using tools for scheduling, reporting, and process improvement.
