About the role

This is for a permanent full-time position working 75 hours bi-weekly. The eligibility list may be used for any future permanent, term, and casual full-time and part-time vacancies.

The Yukon Liquor Corporation central warehouse is responsible for receiving, warehousing and shipping of liquor and cannabis products to licensed customers and stores.
This position performs a full range of warehouse duties in the Yukon Liquor Corporation central warehouse, including but not restricted to: picking customer orders, assisting in stock rotation, ensuring cleanliness of the warehouse.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Recent experience picking and assembling customer orders
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory procedures including inventory counts
  • Experience using a forklift and power jack will be considered an asset (please state in your resume which ones you have experience using)

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Additional information

Conditions of Employment: Security Clearance

Job requirements: wearing safety footwear, heavy lifting (estimated 40-60 lbs) approximately 75% of the time
